What is your day-to-day role and mission at Agrauxine?<\/h2>\n\n

I'm an assistant engineer in Agrauxine's R&D department.<\/p>\n\n

My job is to carry out trials in response to requests from project managers, product managers or sales people. These trials can be carried out at micro-organism level, or at plant or fruit level. <\/p>\n\n

We work on all the company's major themes: Biocontrol<\/a>, Bionutrition<\/a> and Biostimulation<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

How does the R&D team work with the Agrauxine teams to support product marketing?<\/h2>\n\n

One of the R&D team's missions is to support product marketing by answering customers' questions. Our technical expertise enables us to develop customized tests based on requests, and to provide a precise response. I worked in particular on supporting the Julietta<\/a> product in its launch phase. <\/p>\n\n

During the development of Julietta, to which you contributed, how did the R&D team work to test and validate the product's mode of action?<\/h2>\n\n

Thanks to the data we have obtained in vitro and in planta, we have demonstrated a mode of action based on spatial and nutrient competition.<\/p>\n\n

Botrytis is a pathogen that mainly settles in wounds on the fruit surface. Our trials have shown that the Julietta population on wounded fruit increases over time, and that almost all the yeasts are found in the wounds. <\/p>\n\n

Do you have any special memories of Agrauxine?<\/h2>\n\n

After almost 7 years, there are several memories that stand out for me.<\/p>\n\n

If I had to name one, I think I'd say (not surprisingly for my colleagues) the time we played a handball match against my club's leisure team. It was a great time, and it's always fun to share your passion with your colleagues in a good atmosphere. We had a great time together afterwards, and I hope we'll be able to repeat the experience very soon, especially as we've got revenge on our hands! <\/p>\n\n
