and Development
Based in Angers, France, with over 600 m² of R&D laboratories located in the heart of the “vegetal campus”, Agrauxine’s Research and Development department is a major asset for innovation and continuous improvement of our products.
Our expertise from cell to plant :
Microbiology
Our microbiology expertise focuses
on yeast, fungi and bacteria. We identify and screen new microorganisms and their derivates for future products development. We provide technical support for our customers, as studies on our products storage conditions, or their compatibility with other products.
Plant pathology
We develop methodologies to identify new candidates and evaluate efficiency of our products on fungal diseases control.
Our diseases assays are performed on plant tissues, plants and fruits.
Molecular biology and Biochemistry
We develop molecular markers (ex : for gene activation measurement ) and biochemical tools (ex : for metabolite accumulation measurement ) to :
- Characterize both efficiency and mode of action
of our products at the cell level - Assess the impact of our products on microbial populations
Plant Physiology
Our plant physiologists are experts in both specialty and row crops.
We perform experiments under controlled conditions (growth chambers) as well as semi-controlled conditions (greenhouses).
Our dedicated R&D works in close collaboration with the Lesaffre R&D made of over 570 experts around the world. Our research staff also relies on a network of partners and technical centers specialized in their field.
