Based in Beaucouzé - France, Agrauxine's Research and Development department stimulates the creation, conceptualization and deployment of innovative research projects for the continuous development and improvement of our biosolutions.
Our expertise from cell to plant
Microbiology
Our microbiological expertise focuses on yeasts, fungi and bacteria. We select, identify and characterize new micro-organisms and their derivatives for the development of new products. We provide technical assistance to our customers, including studies on storage conditions for our products, shelf-life tests and compatibility tests with agrochemicals.
Crop protection
We develop and deploy methods and tests to assess the in vitro and in planta efficacy of candidate microorganisms and their derivatives against major crop diseases and pests. We target products that can provide effective protection for plants above and/or below ground, from seed to post-harvest.
Molecular biology and biochemistry
Specialized in biochemistry and molecular biology, our teams develop and use tools for:
- Characterize the performance and mode of action of our products at cellular level
- Assessing the impact of our products on microbial populations
- Study soil microbiome, endogenous plant microbiota and plant growth-promoting microbes (PGPM)
Plant physiology
Our agronomists and plant physiologists are experts in assessing plant responses to biotic and abiotic stresses. We are able to conduct experiments in a variety of conditions, from controlled environments to field settings, to thoroughly evaluate our biofertilizers and biostimulants that promote crop growth and improve stress tolerance.
Field experimentation
Our team of agronomists coordinates the implementation of rigorous field trials in different edaphoclimatic contexts in order to identify the optimum conditions for using our products (doses, application stages, efficacy, etc.). This expertise enables us to adapt our innovations to the realities of farming, and to effectively support our sales teams and distributors with recommendations for use and a realistic expectations.
