Esquive WP - Meeting with Saboc's Touraine winemakers

On November 14th, our Loches plant, which specializes in fermentation on solid substrates, welcomed some twenty Touraine winegrowers, accompanied by Laurent Fonteneau, Vineyard Manager at Saboc(CAPL Group). Among other things, this site produces Esquive®WP to combat wood diseases of the vine.

The product presentation provided an opportunity for a wide-ranging discussion on the practical use of Esquive®WP, and in particular the different application techniques available: for example, Saboc offers a quad application service to some of its customers.

The morning continued with a guided tour of the plant, giving an overview of the Esquive®WP industrial process and the specificities of producing a biocontrol product using micro-organisms.
