The Bio4Solutions Chair, one of Agrauxine's commitments to support the agro-ecological transition

Agroecology, a necessary evolution to which Agrauxine is fully committed

A change of agricultural production model has become necessary.

Improving the management of space and resources to halt the collapse of biodiversity, learning to use chemical inputs such as pesticides and fertilizers much more sparingly... these are just some of the challenges facing the world of agriculture.

By developing high-performance products in biocontrol, biostimulation and bionutrition, which aim to offer alternatives to chemically-synthesized inputs, Agrauxine has been committed to this agro-ecological transition for over 15 years.

As Hugo Bony, Managing Director of Agrauxine, points out, the challenge is also to " encourage all players in the chain to experiment with these new solutions, so as to invent the model of tomorrow ".

Through its involvement in the Bio4Solutions Chair, Agrauxine is committed to supporting all those involved in agricultural production in the transition to agro-ecology.

Launched in January 2020 and founded with the University of Lorraine and 3 other partners (LORCA Group, BASF France Division Agro, Plant Advanced Technologies - PAT), the Bio4Solutions Chair aims to train agricultural professionals and future engineers in the agroecological transition

Since its launch, 45 agricultural professionals have received practical and theoretical training in biosolutions from 15 researchers and professionals in the field.

The aim is to train 50% of agricultural distribution technicians in agroecology by 2030.

Agroecology, a complex concept requiring specific support

As Ronan Kempf - Agrauxine's Marketing and Development Director - explains, agroecology has multiple components at different stages of development, and because you don't become an "expert in biosolutions" overnight, the Bio4Solutions Chair is designed to enable everyone to develop their skills at their own pace and according to their own scope of action.

The challenge for Agrauxine is to train technical professionals in biosolutions, to enable them to answer farmers' questions and help them make a success of the agroecological transition, without taking risks for their farms and improving the economic equation for them.
