Launch of ROMEO in Italy

The 27th of April 2018 has marked the launch of ROMEO (AMM n°17058) in Italy, where the distribution is ensured by Sumitomo Chemical Italia.

ROMEO is a biocontrol preventive solution against fungal diseases, containing the active substance Cerevisane® (S. cerevisiae LAS117 cell walls) for a use against powdery mildew, downy mildew and botrytis on grapevine and vegetables.

ROMEO is a Systemic Resistance Inducer. Its mode of action is to anticipate, stimulate and maximize the natural response of the plant against further pathogen attacks. This preventive solution is registered in conventional and organic farming. It’s easy to use with its low dose rate. It can also be used alone or in program with other fungicide solutions.

Rewarded by the IBMA (International Biocontrol Manufacturer Association) at the Bernard Blum Award in 2016, ROMEO is the conclusion of 10 years of research and development lead by Agrauxine and its partners.
